香港攀山總會獲中國登山協會邀請派隊參加於2006年9月25-30日假中國重慶舉行的武隆國際山地越野挑戰賽2006，詳情請參閱附件。
主辦單位將會資助參賽隊伍之來回香港－重慶機票及提供比賽期間之住宿，而報名費美金$1,000則由參賽隊伍自行支付。
總會現邀請各屬會推薦合適之會員組隊申請參加，並由總會甄選決定參賽隊伍。有興趣之屬會請填妥隨附之報名表格，並於2006年9月15日或之前交回總會。

The International Mountain Outdoor-sports Challenging

Place: Wulong County, Chongqing, China.
4\ Competition events:
(1) The course of the competition will be divided into 3 stages, the total race distance is about 200 km.
(2) On each stage of the race, the organizers will define the different disciplines. The disciplines featured on a stage will be chosen from those listed below：
Running, Mountain-biking, Biking & Running,，Boating, Cross-orienteering, Rafting, In-line skating, Rope activities , etc.
5\Competition team:
5.2 A team consists of 4 competitors. The team must be mixed. The organization committee will provide each foreign team with a Chinese liaison person.
(1) It is an open competition. There will be about 15 competition teams.
(2) A team consists of 4 competitors. The team must be mixed.
(3) The age of the team member should be over 18. Each competitors must possess the health certificate.
(4) Each competitors must be able to swim and repair the bicycle, attesting to their aptitude to practise the kind of sports included in the race.
(5) All members of a team must approve and respect the anti-doping rules.
5\ Competition rules:
The competition will be conducted in accordance with the competition rules made by the CMA.
6\ results and prize:
(1) The final results for the race will be determined by the time taken to complete all stages plus any penalties. The team that finishes all stages in the shortest time will be the winner.
(2) The total prizes will be 60000-80000US$.
8\ registrations:
(1) Entry fees amount to 1000US$ per team.
(2) The organization committee will be in charge of the board and lodging during the competition for all the competitors.
