不要亂丟垃圾 --- 木子

常見行山人士,帶走膠袋、膠樽、鋁罐等垃圾,卻在郊野遺下果皮、果核及食物殘渣等易腐爛東西,究竟是甚麼原因?原來很多人認為易腐爛的東西,可給小動物吃掉,讓其回歸自然,不是更好嗎?原來這觀念有待斟酌。
 一是遺下食物殘渣,可能影響動物的覓食方式,例如餵飼猴子,猴子不用去其他地方覓食,集中在一個地方,可能為當地的生態平衡帶來沖擊。 
 二是遺下果核或其他種子,若天氣土壤等條件配合,這些植物蓬勃生長,可能破壞原來經歷很長時間演變而來的生態平衡,例如由外地傳來的薇金菊生長快速,令本地原生植物大受威脅。 
 三是郊野活動頻繁,易腐爛之物也需時間腐化,若每天均有遊人在郊野遺下易腐爛的垃圾,郊野豈不變成另一個垃圾堆填區,況且,很多時易腐爛之物乃被遺在路旁等當眼處,有礙觀瞻,怎不教人聯想到這是隨手亂丟的結果!若有心讓其自然腐化,請把它們丟在不顯眼的地方,又或帶走都可以。

但我認為只要果核及食物殘渣可帶走,為何不帶走.莫非那不是垃圾嗎?我很想了解一下你的觀點如何.
明白有些食物殘渣帶走是有點麻煩,但不是不可能,為何把這些垃圾留下當作理所當然.
或者,大家都有看下一些生態記錄片,一定看過一些,原不屬於該處生態的動植物入侵,並帶來了生態災難,如澳洲的野兔及青蛙.香港的薇金菊等.
如果丟棄果核和殘渣是合理的話,那樣,那些亂丟垃圾的人也是合理,因為他們也丟果核和殘渣,那是荒謬不過了.

Actually, we don't have any education about how to handle rubbish in our countryside. I just do it by my common sense.

I'll leave things that I think are easily biodegradable. Of course, I will leave 大小二便 and the tissue (biodegradable).

I agree that we shouldn't leave the seeds from other countries in our countryside, because it may grow up and destroy the ecological equilibrium of the area.

Cigarette butts 1-5 years
Woollen socks 1-5 years
Orange and banana peel up to 2 years
plastic bags 10-20 years
plastic film containers 20-30 years
nylon fabric 30-40 years
tin cans 50 years
aluminium can 500 years
glass bottles 1000 years
